"I choose the Queen Sleep Number bed with a single chamber. I was having chronic back pain as a result many lower back surgeries, to the point I am disabled because of back pain for the last eight years. I tossed and turned rolling back and forth so much in my previous bed. My girlfriend could not even sleep with me in the same bed. For me a typical good night was tolerating no more then three hours in bed. I was trying to adjust for my back pain, nerve pain in my hips at pressure points, lower back muscle tension cramps leading to leg and feet cramps that were the norm. I would get out of bed for a few hours then go back to bed followed by even less sleep each time. Life was miserable; the bulk of my pain medicine was used to try and get enough rest to function daily. I now toss and turn maybe three times in six hours of restful sleep, my pressure point pain reduced by 90%. My lower back pain while in bed is significantly better. My nighttime use of pain medication has been reduced. Best of all, my significant other can now tolerate sleeping with me again. I am once again a happy man. I expected better sleep with Sleep Number, but I never thought it would be so much better that I no longer have to sleep alone. This bed exceeded my expectations and I now have a near normal nightly sleep. Thank You Select Comfort, and my girlfriend thanks you too. I would also like to comment on the ease of bed assembly – no tools needed. I would recommend this bed to anyone with lower back pain."
